Dakota Rawhide Book 2.5

Days had gone by, nearly two weeks since Dakota put a shot through the eye of Crazy Gaines Hanover. Her meals were ordered and delivered and she acquired new clothes and cut them and her old ones to pieces and mixed and matched sleeves and bodies and skirts and pockets. Buttons were popped off and replaced by those that had seen more miles. Hems were left raw. She had made two calls every day to Everett the mechanic to check on Amrit. She showered two or three times between morning and night. Sometimes she would awake out of an exhausted sleep and shower again.
