Ready to get started?

Getting set up

  1. Download the HTML file.
  2. Sign up for a free Blocks Edit account and sign in.
  3. From the dashboard, at the top, click New Theme to upload the HTML template.
  4. That's it, you're ready to start!

Using Blocks Edit

  1. On dashboard, click New Page.
  2. Name your page and click on it.
  3. Click Edit button at the top.
  4. Drag and drop sections and components from left sidebar.
  5. Follow the steps below to build that page template.

Page templates

Page types that you can build using the theme:

Homepage

Your website's intro page.

  • If you want navigation at the top, drag in the Menu section from the left side bar.
  • Use the Callout section for a short intro to you and your work.
  • Use a Two-column or Three-column section as a way to link to other pages or resources.

Product/link tree

Product info with platforms links.

  • Drag in the Listing section for providing product details.
  • Use Link listing for each link to where to buy your product.

Follow

All the ways someone can get your updates.

  • Drag in the Link listing section from the left side bar to use if you have an RSS feed to link to.
  • Use the Newsletter sign up section if you have an email list.
  • And the Menu section to add your social media platforms.

About page

Your background info.

  1. Drag in the Article section from the left side bar.
  2. Depending on your content, you can additionally use a Two-column or Three-column section.

A form for submitting questions and/or comments.

  • Drag in the Contact form section from the left side bar for form fields to use.

Links/following page

Links to other creators you follow/are a fan of.

  • Drag in the Link listing section from the left side bar for each of your links with optional descriptions and icon images.

If you want to have a footer for your pages, you can add in a Newsletter signup or Menu section, or both. There's also a Share section that allows visitors to copy the link to the current page or to send the page link in an email.

How do I publish my pages?

You'll need to export your pages out of Blocks Edit: In the visual editor, after saving your updates, click Export at the top. You can setup a direct export to your web host.
