Our theme for indie creators to build static pages that don't require any special server software to manage. With templates for various page types.
Use the Blocks Edit visual editor for free to add and edit content.
Learn why you should have your own domain, hosting, and email address, and how to set it all up.
Page types that you can build using the theme:
Your website's intro page.
Product info with platforms links.
All the ways someone can get your updates.
Your background info.
A form for submitting questions and/or comments.
Links to other creators you follow/are a fan of.
If you want to have a footer for your pages, you can add in a Newsletter signup or Menu section, or both. There's also a Share section that allows visitors to copy the link to the current page or to send the page link in an email.
Track essential traffic metrics for your site that are easy to understand and privacy-friendly.
Get your contact form submissions in your email inbox, with built-in spam bot protection that doesn't require an annoying captcha.
You'll first need to export your pages out of Blocks Edit: In the visual editor, after saving your updates, click Export at the top.
If you added images to your pages, you'll have to host them somewhere. You can use the Blocks Edit FTP integration to upload to your site.
Otherwise, you'll have the option to download your images which you will then need to upload manually to your host, and update the image paths in your pages' HTML code.
To publish your page, you'll need to import your saved HTML to your hosting provider where your public content goes.
Download or fork the open source GitHub repo to code your own custom editable theme. Let us know about your theme and we'll feature it for creators here!
